• Host support:
  Symantec PcAnywhere 12.1's host feature allows users to establish a connection without knowing IP addresses. The connections wizard guides users through their first client-host connection, and the bandwidth auto-detect feature optimizes the link for the present connection speed. Once a connection is established, users can upload and download files.
   
• Remote access
  The PcAnywhere 12.1 remote component allows secure access from a variety remote locations, including secondary computers, web browsers, and even compatible Microsoft Pocket PCs. Remote operating systems can include Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows 2000 or newer.
   
• Management features
  Connections between pcAnywhere 12.1 users are secured by mandatory password protection and encryption up to AES 256-bit. Once a connection is established, the host computer can access operating system utilities like the command prompt and task manager to help speed up troubleshooting.
